Good morning folks hope it's dry where you are today, I don't know about you but I'm sick of this wet weather wish it would be on it's way to somewhere it's needed rather than here. As you must all know by now as it is Monday I'm on Grandma duties until tea time so I have to make this post in somewhat of a hurry because my darling little granddaughter is quite mobile now and she seems to think that she can walk off anywhere all by her little self.... But!!! of course she cannot and that is putting a little strain on my poor old back as she no longer wants to be restrained by her very nice baby walker unfortunately for me lol!.
Onto crafty things now and this week we have two cards put together with a very nice Urban stamp and matching Die by Papermania and as you will see it is a rather nice Doily Heart, and the Die is by Xcut both of which are from Docrafts and designed to work together or stand alone, either way they are really good products to use.
So.. card one is a 6x6 square.
I have stamped the heart in Versamark ink and then embossed in Gold Powder.
Next I have used the die to cut it out and then backed it onto some white card.
The background has been created with a floral mask onto cream card and I used Antique Linen Distress Ink and my Cut n Dry Foam to apply the ink.
The With Love stamp is from Papermania and has been stamped in Black Memento and coloured with Promarkers.
Promarkers
Sandstone
Honeycomb
Saffron
Blush
Quickie Glue Pen
Black Glitter
The flowers are from my stash and are by Artemio Magenta called Fleur
Card two this week is also a 6x6 and has a double front opening.
Once again the background has been created with the mask and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink onto Tattered Rose Colour Core card.
The heart has been stamped and embossed onto the same card and the front of the card itself has been embossed with a 6x6 folder.
I have used my Soft Peach Promarker to colour my sentiment this time and then added a little pink glitter to contrast.
The flowers have been stamped in Black Versafine.
I will have to call it a day now as I am being summoned by a very small person with a very large cry.......
See you soon : )

Parisienne Blue - The Capsule Collection
Hello folks hope you are all well and in good crafting spirits, I'm a little tired this week what with Grandma duties and the new arrival of our latest edition to the family - wait for it - yes yet another granddaughter which brings the girls to 9 and the boys behind at 2 not that I'm saying we're short of boys no! no! no! not at all (please no more). Anyway she is absolutely gorgeous and weighed in at 8lbs 12oz mum and daughter doing fine so far but I think that too little sleep is starting to show as little miss has got a good pair of lungs and she is using them frequently. She was born on Tuesday at 1.45 pm just before our class started and was home by 8.30 pm so Holly is no longer the youngest of our grandchildren that jobs been filled by Payton at just three days old (unusual name ey!) it will take some getting used too by gum!
Well enough of the baby talk back to business and this week we have got the blue's no not the baby blue's lol! the Parisienne Blue collection by Papermania. This paper pack is a 12 x 12 collection of 32 papers and at £6.95 who could complain and they are all lovely designs, and you've guessed it they are all shades of BLUE!
The first card is C5 Landscape and I have incorporated one of the Wild Rose Studio stamps along with a couple of Xcut dies.. Not much blue to be seen here though as I decided to add a little Tea Dye distress ink to the paper just to show that you can change the look of it if you so desire.
Here we are with the first card which you can see is a C5 landscape.
The background paper is from the Capsule collection and I have altered it slightly with Tea Dye and just a hint of Walnut Stain distress inks.
The large flower is also from the Papermania range and the centre has been created with die cut felt. I used the Spiral Blossom One by Spellbinders.
The Flourishes and corner are dies by Xcut - Leafy Flourishes cut using Kraft card.
The main image is a stamp by Wild Rose Studios and the sentiment was a free stamp that came with a craft magazine.
I have stamped my image with Memento and then coloured it in with a mixture of my blue and grey and caramel Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens. (a couple of shades for the blues and the greys).
I have coloured the message panel with my Chipped Sapphire distress ink before stamping with Versafine Black next I have used my clean Clear Ink Pad and embossed with Clear Powder.
The background paper and the white panel have both been embossed with a Die' sires dotty embossing folder.
Card 2 is a 6x6 square.
The background panel has be created by using a variety of the papers from the Parisienne Blue Capsule New Collection, this is a 12x12 paper pack and is so useful and so inexpensive which makes it GREAT value!
I have also used a Border Die, a Spellbinders Die, an Urban Stamp and a Flower stamp from Stampendous to create this card.
You will need a Pokey Tool to create the faux stitching that goes around the background panel a long with a fine black pen.
The sparkle is Stickles Sapphire Glitter Glue.
I have stamped and embossed the message this time in White Powder before adding the ink to colour.
Well think that's just about it for now hope you've all had a good weekend see you soon : )

I'll send you a Post Card - Urban range from Docrafts
Well I'll think I should begin the first post of this 2014 and wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year and also good health to us all : )
So here we go first class of 2014 - thought I might try something a little different and just give you all a recipe list of what we will be using and then what we do with it all can remain a surprise so you can come to class and not have any idea as to what on earth you will be making, but I decided it wasn't such a good idea after all LOL! just kidding with you all as if I would do that to you he! he! Me! no way I'm not that bad ! Ha! ha!
right so here's the LIST _
The New Urban stamps from Papermania - Talk Urban and Postal frame.

So You are all shouting at me now "Get on with it for heavens sake" ,
Maybe you would like to take a little peek at what I have actually made with this set of two stamps? then here we go -------------------
Oh I'm sorry I forgot to upload the photo's I took onto my computer so you will have to wait a little longer, in the mean time I can tell you all what I did use to make these two cards and to start with -

The Butterflies are from a cut and emboss set of die and folders from Cuttlebug which I have had for quite some time.If you click on this photo you can see the mica shimmer from the Glimmer Mist spray.
Card no 2 is a 6x6 square, and the background (blue with dots 12x12) paper is also from Papermania.

Once again I have finished off the postcard main image with a light spray of Glimmer Mist and this time I used Starfish.
