Hi or should I say good evening folks sorry couldn't get here any sooner have had family round all day and in fact they are all still here talking about going home so I have sneaked off to do a little blog posting because it's getting rather late now and you might think that we won't be doing much in class so I will move in a rapid fashion to get you all clued up and ready for action, here we go then ......... Reindeer Duo stamps from Creative Expressions..
Card one is 8x8
The background panel has been embossed with the Vintage Christmas Baubles folder and the Reindeer stamps from Creative Expressions have been stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink and highlighted with a denim blue Alcohol Marker Pen and glittered using a Quickie glue pen and Crystal Glitter.
The Snowflake stamps, Sentiment stamps and Embossing folder are all from Crafters Companion range.
The Poinsettia has been die cut from white card stock and glittered.
Weathered Wood and Iced Spruce Distress Ink pads were used on the back ground and and stamping.
The sentiments have been embossed with clear powder.
Card two is also 8x8 and I have kept the same colour theme for this one
Sorry for some reason the photo's I've taken are not very good and the cards look quite dull but they are much more colourful and sparkly in real time, you will just have to trust me on this one lol!
Oh!! and look out I have only gone and left my ribbon off the tag so it looks rather bare, that's what happens when you get visitors for tea when you are not expecting anyone so I'm afraid this is a rushed job this evening, well at least the snowman is still smiling and the reindeer look quite happy don't you think????
The embossed background in this card is one of the A4 Embossing folders Vintage Music from Crafters Companion and the framed sentiment stamp is from my stash and I think it is Marianne Design (Vintage Christmas)
Did I mention that I used Black Versafine and clear powder for the sentiments.
I have used some of my Glitter Jewels (Iced Crystal) from Cosmic Shimmer along the bottom of the tag.
Well that's it for this evening it's been one long day so I'll end here and see you all very soon x

Christmas or Not! - the Die's have it with - Crafters Companion
Hello to all hope you have had a good weekend as usual I missed most of it and of course today the weather has to be different although I'm not really complaining as it has been just a tad too hot lately and I think that's only my opinion because we haven't had it so nice for such a long time and I'm sure it's not over with just yet (fingers crossed) lol!
Anyway here we go again back to the grind stone so to speak in the nicest way possible : )
Well you knew it would come sooner or later and here it is the C word dare I mention it in the height of our beautiful summer you guessed it ...... Yes I dare! Christmas! Christmas! Christmas! and once more for good luck CHRISTMAS!
So let us see what I have managed to come up with this week and you might notice that it's simplicity itself, die cut and go ha!" ha!..........
Sue you should keep reading LOL!!!!
And of course a little bit more for good measure.................
8x8 Card
As you can see the background has been embossed with the 8x8 Vintage Bells folder and inked with Weathered Wood Distress Ink.
The Die's are all Die'sires from Crafters Companion (as are the sentiment stamps and embossing folders) which have been embossed with clear powder on top of Black Versafine Ink
I have added a little crystal glitter with my Cosmic Shimmer glue to the Tree's and the Ivy leaves.
Just need it to snow now - in the background of course : )
Second card is 7x7
The card base has been embossed with the A4 Hessian folder and then inked with Stormy Sky and Antique Linen D.I's.
The Nativity Scene Die O'Holy Night has been cut from Core'dinations card stock and inked with a little Black Soot.
The background panel has been made from white card stock and inked with Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot, I have added in a little bit of my
stickles Glitter Glue and just a touch of my Chunky White Embossing Enamel from Stampendous.
So! I hope you all are in good spirits and ready for the class whether it be Christmas or otherwise lol!
And just to show you that the die's don't have to be about the Christmas Season this card is just a walk in the park, wouldn't you say so Sue ?
The inks on this on are:-
Shabby Shutters and Black Soot
Instead of glitter on the leaves and the tree's I have used my white Gelly Roll Pen.
The background has been embossed with the 8x8 folder Decadent Rose.
Just need a few birds and butterflies passing or even a lady with a dog lol!
Eh! Sue x
O.K. enough of that I will see you all soon : )

Stampers Anonymous and Woodware Combination
Monday! Monday! it's always Monday why does it come around so soon? Maybe because I went out over the weekend on both Saturday and Sunday - naughty me! unheard of when I should be home finishing off the cards for our class this week so therefore I should be grateful for Monday's as that is exactly what I have been doing this morning and now it's afternoon and I can breath once more well I hope so lol! and to make things even better my car has passed it's MOT and I'm truly pleased : )
Well here we go again so to speak ready for our crafting session this week and guess what? I've gone and used some of the same stamps that we have already done our last few classes with but this time I have teamed them up with some others and they would be Papillon - Stampers Anonymous - by Tim Holtz along with Georgina and Alison by Woodware these are the large flowers Clear Magic Singles Stamps. Georgina is one that we used in the Hello Flowers class on the 8x8 card together with the mixed set of smaller flowers which is also included in this weeks cards.
Card one is an 8x8 base card.
It would appear that there are some issues with the internet at this moment in time thanks for that Sky!!!
I will try and get this finished as soon as possible but it isn't playing fair and I'm having difficulties in uploading the photo's for you so please bare with and I'll do my best.......
As you can see I have used Clear Ink and White Embossing Powder for the flowers and Gold Powder for the Butterflies on the tag.
Distress Ink Pads
Walnut Stain
Salty Ocean
Worn Lipstick
Gosh this is taking forever if I thought I would get anywhere by phoning and complaining I would do but it will probably take just as long to get through to them .
The background has been created with the Papillon stamp set using the Walnut Stain D I pad and white embossing powder.
Salty Ocean and Worn Lipstick have been used to make the tag along with Gold embossing powder.
Sorry folks the photo's aren't the best I have now almost decided to give up as I have been trying to get this post finished for the last two no three hours now and I still haven't got to the second card yet, think I will go now and come back later to finish what I started lol!
Just in case I don't get back I used Aged Mahogany and Wild Honey ink pads, also Black Versafine and Clear Powder. A Bright Yellow Promarker.
The background has been stamped in Aged Mahogany and then embossed in a folder through the eBosser.
I have made the centre of the flower using a small die cut then adding Glossy Accents and some chunky gold glitter.
At last card 2.
The flower has been stamped onto vellum in black Versafine and embossed in Clear powder. I have coloured it on the reverse with my yellow Promarker and Wild Honey ink pad.
I have added some gilding flakes to the border strip and then a little of the Wild Honey Distress Ink.
Here goes!!
Thought I'd never get this post out to you all so I'm going now before anything else goes wrong
"Publish post now"
Fingers crossed !
See you soon

Flower Box Card with Woodware
Hi there and hello sorry I'm late but it's been quite a weekend and to make things more difficult I have had one of those funny headaches that just won't leave but instead gives you a pain in the neck just for good measure so despite the fact that I have had too much to do it just didn't get any better in fact it was all down hill from Saturday morning onwards but Hey! Ho! I have survived and only just managed to get my act together for this weeks class - Nothing new there then I hear you all cry, well I think that I deserve a medal lol! no not really I'm just glad that it all - well - almost came good in the end I've just about finished and I think for once you can all get there by yourselves, ha! no pressure on you lot then , we shall see . Don't you just love a surprise - lets find out shall we?????
This week I decided because I liked the flower stamps so much that we have been using over the last two weeks that we would go ahead and use them again - why not? I asked myself and I got the right answer by Jove! anyway let's see, thought they would work well in this Flower Box Card.........................................
It's made by folding an A4 sheet of card stock.
I used a Hougie Board to measure and score the lines on the card.
I have stamped and embossed the flowers using Black Versafine Ink and Clear Powder.
As you can see the flowers work quite well, I have coloured them with my Sakura Pencils and a Blending Pen
I have added some Stickles Glitter Glue to the centre of the flowers and the box has been decorated with some 12x12 background paper by Docrafts
It will fold flat and fit into a C5 envelope.
You could also use your Distress ink Pads or Pens to colour flowers just use the colours you like best as the box is quite Neutral.
SURPRISE!! You will be making two of these this week and Artistic Licence is advisable and also necessary lol!!
As I have made a another one in a different colour and this time it will fit into a DL sized envelope sorry there is no photo for this one as yet but I will try and get it on later just don't hold your breath as I am running out of time way too fast lol! I did use a Clear Ink Pad and White Embossing Powder on this one just to get a slightly different look, but as I'm sure you will all be able to repeat it with no trouble at all and adding your own little twist or should I say Artistic Licence !
P.S. You might want to bring your own Heat Tool as this will avoid you having to wait in a queue as there will be a lot of embossing of flowers....

Woodware's Quartet and Trio - Leaves
Morning everybody hope the sun is out where you are today it is lovely and bright here but oh so cold however the washing is out and I for one am grateful for that. Looking down the allotment I thinks it may be next in line for some very needed attention but not today as I know a spot of indoor cleaning is higher on my list (don't even go in the craft room) as is a multitude of other things not to mention some shopping of the food variety - What else!
Okay onto a more pleasing subject of conversation , would that be card making! I hear you cry well it just so happens you could be right and of course you know that you are, let's continue then with the cards for this weeks classes.................................
A Quartet of Leaves and A Trio of Leaves clear stamps by Woodware.
They actually look to me as if they are sort of already Zen-tangled if you get my drift so I have tried to use them in two entirely different ways and I think that it worked reasonably well. You can be the judge for your selves, they could be used so in many different ways as I'm sure you will all agree.
The first card is a A4 folded - A5 or C5 envelope size
This one I have kept in the more traditional style that you would associate with a leaf design and it will work for both male and female so that's a bonus as those male cards are a pain sometimes, well it's not just me that thinks so is it? lol!
In the background I have used some 12x12 two tone paper with a leaf design and distressed the edges with a touch of Wild Honey D.I.
The main image panel has been stamped in Frayed Burlap (you could use any earth tone colour) and embossed with Clear Powder.
Both panels have been coloured with Acrylic paints and water in a spray bottle, the photo doesn't show this very well.
The border strip has been stamped in Clear Ink Versamark or Perfect Medium and then I added Orange and Yellow Mica Powders with a soft brush.
To finish the leaves have been embossed in Black Versafine and Clear Powder then cut out and decoupaged on top of main image, I have painted some of the Mica powder onto the leaves.
Anti-Static Bag
Soft Brush
Sm Paint Brush
Onto the second of our cards for this week.
A 6x6 Square base card.
I have embossed the whole of this card with a 6x6 Die'Sire Embossalicious Folder - Floral Frenzy and my eBosser, I have also used this on the Acetate front.
The Individual leaves have been stamped onto Silver Pearl card and Embossed with Silver Powder.
To decorate them I used my Glossy Accents and some chunky Silver Disco Glitter. Again the photo doesn't show how pretty they look (had to use the camera on
The corner flourish is from an Xcut die and I have created a coloured panel to cut from using my Distress ink pads and some white acrylic paint.
Sorry if the top edge of my card looks a little untidy but I took the photo before I had trimmed it, that's one more brain cell less then! doh!!
Well I think that's all - but least said - you know what that means with me .
All will be good on the day lol!
Just to finish I would like to say to those of our ladies who are not feeling well at the moment we all hope you get better soon and you will be missed until your return, that's the sentiment from all of the class group x
See you later : )

Mini Flowers by Woodware
Hello! hello! what a nice bright sunny day it is outside shame I'm inside trying my best to get sorted for the coming weekend and what a nightmare it is, headless chicken springs to mind lol! just hope I can fit everything in before I run out of time and in case you think I have gone slightly mad and you would most probably be correct in your assumptions ( I can see you all nodding your heads in agreement) I'm going away very early on Friday morning and it's not a holiday I can assure you, can't really say any more than that as the Powers that Be have instructed me otherwise and I am now unable to discuss the matter any further but maybe I will be able to let you in on the events after my weekend is over, who knows we shall all have to wait and see lol!!!!!!!
Well must get on as my time for preparation is running out and will I be back in time for next weeks class? this is the Question ???
OK for this week anyway we have some bright and zesty colours to use in the form of some new Woodware clear stamps - they are Mini Flowers and I for one are quite taken with them already, NO surprise there then......... Not to mention the LARGE one's that go with them OH! Sorry moving on........
Onto card one.. C5 in size
OK so I said bright and here it is,
The background has been created using Distress ink pads and Adirondack Dye based ink pads (Brights) which work well along side the Distress inks (Both being Dye based) I have included a photo of the inks that I used lower down in this post.
The background includes the use of both Clear and White Embossing Powders.
Anti-Static bag
Blending Foam or tools
And you might want to include a rubber glove or two if you really don't want "Inky Fingers"
pardon the pun lol! : )
Die'Sires 6x6 Embossing folder Petite Dot
Dries Clear glue or Glossy Accents, this is to use with the glitter for the centre of the flowers
I used the Glossy Accents on mine and
they reminded me of Jelly Tots when they had dried Ooopppss! Other sweeties are also available Ha Ha!!
The colours don't look as good in the photo's.
There are four different flowers on the stamp set along with the Hello sentiment.
Card Two -
8x8 this time thought we'd go big as we haven't done a large card for a while.
Again the large background panel has been made with Inks and the stamps, there is a photo of it further down the page to give you a better idea of how it was created.
A very simple design but bold with the colour. The sentiment is also on the stamp set.
If you don't have the same coloured inks then you could mix Shabby Shutters and Mustard Seed with the Tumbled Glass and it should be quite similar to the Citrus Adirondack that I used along with Peacock Feathers.
Picked Raspberry would work but it's just a little darker.
Black Versafine
Versamark or Perfect Medium
Die'Sires 6x6 Embossing Folder
Floral Frenzy.
See you soon :)
Off to find a suitcase don't even know what I am taking with me yet but at least I managed to get some comfy sandals and shoes yesterday...............

Why do I get myself into these situations I'll never know???????

Wine Labels with Stampendous
Hello crafty people hope you are all looking forward to coming back this next week after our short interlude and I do hope that the weather remains as it is at this moment in time, fairly bright and no wet stuff lol! as if that is going to happen !!!! well one never knows does one - we can live in hopes......
At this point just before I carry on I would like to say "sending best wishes to Margaret" I know she is home after her op and doing OK so hurry up and get that new knee going then you will be back with us in no time, and also to my big sister Irene who has had the same op just the week before Margaret so sending you both love and hugs for a speedy recovery, take care xx Plenty of R n R but don't forget those exercises : ) xx
Now back to our crafting with next weeks class here we have two lovely stamps by Stampendous - Wine Labels & Grape Label..... Both from the Cling Rubber range.
The first card is a C5 Landscape and would be suitable for either a male or female.
The larger of the two panels is stamped with the Cling Wine Labels and has been layered onto the background paper. The main image panel is stamped with the Cling Grape Label and both have been coloured with Distress Ink Pads and Pencils.
I used a fine water brush to paint in the grapes and my pencils and blender pen for the leaves
This card has a more vintage feel by way of the colours I have chosen and if you leave off the glitter which I added onto the grapes in the background then it would make a great card for a man I think.
The Mirror card glasses have been cut with a Sizzix small die called Champagne Glass and the decorative label has been cut with another Spellbinders die from Parisian Accents
Sentiment stamp is from my stash and came free with a magazine.
Card number two is 6x6 square and is very simple by design. This time I have only used the Grape Label stamp onto Distress Ink coloured card and the grapes have been decoupaged on top of the frame.
The background is simply pearl card which has been embossed in a Die'sire folder and put through the eBosser.
The frame has been cut using a Spellbinders Die Captivating Squares
I have used my pencils this time to colour the grapes and leaves.
To finish I added Glossy Accents to the grapes for a different textured look.
Here are the ingredients I used in the making of both cards
See you all soon : )

Well!!!! Confusion confusion - Keep Calm............... And .....................HURRY UP!!!
Late and sorry but things had to be changed on the very last minute and when I say very last I really do mean it however I got there in the end so without the fuss and circumstance here we go for this week.........
The firs project as you may of already gathered is not a card this time but a Mini Folded Album which could be used for a variety of different things.
All I needed to complete this little project was a couple of Distress Ink Pads - Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters, my Collall All purpose glue and some Cosmic Shimmer glue.
The Mini Album comes on a 12 x 12 sheet and is ready die cut for you so all you need to do is pop it out embellish to your hearts content, there are lots of extra pieces on the sheet for this but I have added in some extras. The corners and flourishes are all from Xcut Dies. The flower on the front of the album is also made up from an Xcut Die. I used a Sanding Block to remove any little pips left behind once the Album was taken from the sheet.
I have added some white panels to the inside which I stamped with a Stampendous Cling rubber stamp which is called Wine Labels. The corners have been punched with a Fiskars Corner Slots punch and this would allow you to add in some photo's or things like recipe cards etc....
Onto our card this week which is a 6 x 6
square base card.
The background which measures 5.5 x 5.5 inches has been created using the same stamp and Tumbled Glass ink pad.
I have used some Cosmic Shimmer Flake and Glitter glue onto cut and dry foam to stencil through my sequin waste and then added my Gilding Flakes for that metallic look.
As you can see I have used the same dies again and the centre panel which is 3 and a quarter inches square has been embossed with my Regency Swirls Die'sire embossing folder.
I have deepened the edge of the background panel with some Black Soot Distress Ink
Ta! Da! Didn't think I'd make it this week.
See you soon x

Heart Doily - With Love
Good morning folks hope it's dry where you are today, I don't know about you but I'm sick of this wet weather wish it would be on it's way to somewhere it's needed rather than here. As you must all know by now as it is Monday I'm on Grandma duties until tea time so I have to make this post in somewhat of a hurry because my darling little granddaughter is quite mobile now and she seems to think that she can walk off anywhere all by her little self.... But!!! of course she cannot and that is putting a little strain on my poor old back as she no longer wants to be restrained by her very nice baby walker unfortunately for me lol!.
Onto crafty things now and this week we have two cards put together with a very nice Urban stamp and matching Die by Papermania and as you will see it is a rather nice Doily Heart, and the Die is by Xcut both of which are from Docrafts and designed to work together or stand alone, either way they are really good products to use.
So.. card one is a 6x6 square.
I have stamped the heart in Versamark ink and then embossed in Gold Powder.
Next I have used the die to cut it out and then backed it onto some white card.
The background has been created with a floral mask onto cream card and I used Antique Linen Distress Ink and my Cut n Dry Foam to apply the ink.
The With Love stamp is from Papermania and has been stamped in Black Memento and coloured with Promarkers.
Promarkers
Sandstone
Honeycomb
Saffron
Blush
Quickie Glue Pen
Black Glitter
The flowers are from my stash and are by Artemio Magenta called Fleur
Card two this week is also a 6x6 and has a double front opening.
Once again the background has been created with the mask and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink onto Tattered Rose Colour Core card.
The heart has been stamped and embossed onto the same card and the front of the card itself has been embossed with a 6x6 folder.
I have used my Soft Peach Promarker to colour my sentiment this time and then added a little pink glitter to contrast.
The flowers have been stamped in Black Versafine.
I will have to call it a day now as I am being summoned by a very small person with a very large cry.......
See you soon : )
