Hi everyone! well it's sunshine and showers here, washing out, washing in, in out! in out! give up and blog instead, good idea considering that the last shower was full of rather large hail stones but now I am sat in front of my PC of course the sun has come out, you tease you! don't think I will fall for that old trick go back out with the washing and I know what comes next, No Thank You I'm staying right here well at least until it's lunch time. Anyway here are the cards I made on Monday using the Woodware Clear Magic singles Going to Seed and also the Vive La Plume which I featured in last weeks cards (love that stamp!) loving this one tooooooo : ) think I might have to have them all lol!.................
I chose to use a black and whit theme on an 8x8 card base. I thought this would show off the stamp at it's best.
Stamped in Black Versafine ink and although you can't really see it I have highlighted some of the design with Ice Stickles glitter glue.
The die cuts are from Spellbinders.
6x6 card base this time
The background on this card is made using the Vive la Plume stamp and a leaf stamp from a set by Inkadinkado Leaves Cling.
Distress Ink Pads
Weathered Wood, Antique Linen, Tea Dye.
Main image is stamped and embossed in black powder.
This time keeping it very simple I have stamped and embossed in white powder then added Black Soot to colour the background.
The corners have been stamped and embossed with white powder and black powder.
(click on a photo to enlarge)
Again I have added a little of the Stickles glitter glue which you can just about see in this photo, trust me they look much better in real life.
OK now it's lunch time and I'm off to make some pasta yum! yum! so I will see you all soon x

Vive La Plume - By Woodware
Good morning crafters hope you are all having a good weekend as I am especially since my trip to the dentist on Thursday which I have to say was not as terrifying as I had imagined it would be. He removed my broken tooth and I didn't feel a thing, now I have to decide whether to have the root removed or have a replacement fitted, other than that one small filling and I'm good to go so that's not bad considering I haven't seen a dentist for more than eighteen years plus! Well that's enough talk about that subject my next trip might not be so easy and the cost just don't get me started on that one!
Right down to the nitty gritty, cards for next week -
The image stamp of an elegant lady is from Stampendous but the one I really liked using is the background stamp from Woodware Clear Magic singles and is called Vive La Plume
Distress Inks used - Walnut Stain, Tea Dye, Victorian Velvet.
Versamark ink pad
Gold embossing powder
Quickie glue pen
Glue gun
Woodware crafty edger border punch
Distress Inks used - Victorian Velvet,
Picked Raspberry
Versamark
Silver embossing powder
Clear embossing powder
Black embossing powder
The swirl is from a set of stamps by Creative Expressions and the sentiment is from Woodware ( Going to seed )
This stamp set will feature in a class in the very near future so head's up!!
Don't say I didn't warn you lol!
OK that's me done for today off to enjoy the rest of my weekend or should I say the next two hours at most before the beloved family gang show up wanting to be fed and watered after all it's Sunday again back to the slaving over a hot stove for me : 0

A Good Friend - Vintage Notes
Hello and good morning to everyone, it's sunny and bright but still very cold here in our crafty corner
Oh well! we can cope with that for now but it better make up it's mind to warm up even just a little because my allotment is screaming at me "come out and tidy me up, Now!" yeah yeah, later Al lol! can't you see I'm busy crafting here indoors where it's nice and warm. Now about that crafting and this is what little old me has been up to, but before I show you I would like to say a big thanks to all my lovely family, friends and of course the ladies at classes who all sent me such wonderful birthday cards this week, once again thank you all so much.
Now onto the cards for next week, I chose a sort of vintage and floral theme using quite a muted colour scheme but adding in a little sparkle with my H2O's ..........
The first card is an 8 x 8"
Ink Pads
Versamark
Frayed Burlap

Clear embossing powder
H2O's Buttercup and gold dust
The stamps used on this card -

Woodware Clear Magic - Rose and
Good Friend (border)
The second card is A4 folded
As you can see I have used the same stamps again (good friend and doily) with the addition of the Fresh Bloom stamp from Stampendous which we used a couple of weeks ago,
